NC IDA was born at its inaugural meeting on February 10, 2026, when seven dental professionals came together with a shared vision: to build a professional association that honors both excellence in dentistry and the rich cultural heritage of the Indian community in North Carolina.
From that first gathering, the founding board set in motion the steps to formalize NC IDA as a nonprofit organization serving dental professionals across the state.
